* News: 01.13.01 Wow, it's been like 8 months since my last update. I'm pretty good at this procrastination thing. :D Anyways, here's what is new in my life. I finished with school, right now I just need to finish studying and then take the CCNA test. Kind of had a job doing random perl coding for perlcoders.com. Still not sure where that is at right now. Waiting on payment. Still don't drive. Still not sure about redesigning this site... the more I look at it, the more I think that it is fine the way it is... maybe just add a simple PHP backend so that I can write this news stuff easier... that might make me update this a little more too. I still work on photogenic occaisonally... I made a semi-new release back in July, it hasn't really changed a whole lot since then. If I had a laptop then I think I might work on it more... but lately I haven't been using the computer all that much as it is. I have a girlfriend now. Her name is Esperanza, I'm really happy. What a change. :) I read a lot... if you finger me you can see what/where my current status is in books that I'm reading. I suppose thats about it for now... * News: 05.19.00 I dunno if there is anything exciting or new, or even why I am updating this page... I guess it is because I had gvim open and my website directory open at the same time. Sort of an odd coincidences :P Anyways, school got out for the summer 5/8 and lately I've just been sitting around the house, working on photogenic quite a bit too. Went to the store with incite and got some new books.. The C Programming Language by K&R, Learning the vi Editor by O'Reilly, and The perl CD Bookshelf by O'Reilly... So I plan to read those during this summer. I'm also just sitting around waiting for someone to throw a wonderful job opportunity into my lap.. not working so good so far ;P Hmm.. I'm sort of getting bored with this site layout, it's been the same for like 3years... getting kind of old. Maybe someday when I get bored I will redo it. I'm not sure when I'm going to release a new version of photogenic, it could be another month or two. There's a lot of stuff I've been adding, optimizing a lot of stuff, the usual bugfixes, and testing.. testing.. testing! Anyways.. *zap* I'm gone, gotta go back to reading. * News: 05.02.00 Hi freaks! I must've forgotten to update this page... well it's not like you missed out on anything :P I've been up to the same shit as usual. School, Fornix, photogenic, define2, etc.. blah blah. :) I am *still* working on fornix, but I am happy with it so far. :) confusion is currently running fornix! woooop... I learned shell scripting and I wrote some fairly elite rc files. photogenic is still under developement.. I had to give it a break though.. so that is why I am updating this page. I actually went through the whole page and updated almost every part.. added some new pictures, rewrote a bunch of text, added some new links/programs to d/l, various small changes, etc.. so go check it out if you are bored or something. :) I dunno what else is really new.. school is out on 5/8 :D :D I am planning on getting a job among some other things.. I have a big list of stuff I want to do/read. Anyways.. wish me luck on finding something interesting in life ;p * News: 02.12.00 My UNIX geekness is peeking out. Eeep! :) Last week I was sort of bored and I was thinking... I have one machine that doesn't have *NIX on it.. *gasp* So I was contemplating throwing BSD on it. The only problem was that I only have 2.2.8 on CD, so I started thinking some more... how about I make my own distro! Then I found a HOWTO on how to make Linux-From-Scratch... so I started following that, had a semi-working version of fornix then I rm -rf /'d it and started over trying not to follow the HOWTO exactly, just using it as a foundation. So the past week or so that's mainly what I've been doing. I'm also reading up a bit on shell scripting... looks like it may come in handy (especially when i'm writing my rc files =] ) So hopefully soon confusion will be running a mad secksi version of fornix. Woop Woop! olds news... technical confusion is basically just a label I put on my 'products'.
